Yesterday I had an ultrasound because of brown discharge when wiping... baby had a strong heartbeat and my hormones were high enough to think we were having twins.... but only one baby.... with the good heartbeat and high enough levels we are hopeful of a successful pregnancy... however the baby is at the bottom of uterus with a pool of blodd under it.. any guess at to what exactly this condition is called so that I can research more... and any one else had similar experience and what was your outcome ?

eye bee again...a subchorionic hemorrhage is when the placenta does not fully attatch in one spot...which allows for (usually) a small amount of blood to develop beneath/outside of the uterus...I have/had one also...the tech and doc told me that it was nothing to worry about..and yes some woman actually get some bleeding with it...usually they go away by themselves, soak back into your system...occa__sionaly they leak and you get bleeding or spotting...I would double check to see if this is what you have...I also know that some woman have fibroids within the uterus which can also cause something of the same nature...( I had a friend that went through it) they told her that it was nothing to worry about and what I looked up it said the same...but...she ended up going into labor very early..baby is ok thank god...just double check with your doc and ask what it is that caused the blood....good luck to you...
