I admit it - I stay in bed longer, let my hubby take care of me, eat more sugar than usual, and use my preggo condition to just be pampered .... and I am only 8 weeks :). Am I alone here?

Well my situation is a little bit different, when I moved into my bf's house I started treating him like they reised me in my house.. cook him the food, get his clothes ready, start the .showerntie his shoes, bring him drinks to the sofa etc..so now he got so used to and so did I that when I ask him to do something for me like this..he says "why me?" I give him an inch and he gets the WHOLE METER!! LOL!! I better stop doing so much for him.

Well, I am a big baby ... and my hubby is letting me take that role completely ... I am dying of morning sickness ... he put me in the car yesterday, brought a soothing CD, asked me to put my seat back and relax - we went to a park to feed birds ... it was so great ... it recharged my batteries and the m/s was not so bad at all :)

Wow, I feel like the worst wife in the world compared to you Lesli. I'll cook for my husband but only when I want to eat too. If he wants a drink, I'll get him one only if i'm headed to the kitchen anyway. I'll iron my clothes for the next day but I won't touch his stuff. I feel like he's a grown man and can do these things himself. I am not a maid and I am not his mother. I don't mean to insult you. It's just that I am sooooo different!!!

Do you work Billie? You are soo funny!!

Billie - March 14

Yes, unfortunetly, I do work. As a matter of fact I'm at work right now. I'm just too lazy to do anything when I get home. Is that bad?

Billie - March 14

Ok, I have to admit, I was lazy before I got pregnant! lol

Not to worry Vicky, my hubby does it all for me now that I'm preggo. Even if I have a craving in the middle of the night he'll go and get it for me. He's awesome. And Billie, I'm the same way. Everyone always tells me what a bad wife I am cause I don't do much for hubby. OH WELL!!! I'll clean the house just cause I'm a clean freak, but cooking and doing his laundry - no way! He's a big boy! And I agree with you, I'm not his maid or his mom. He's great though, he never complains and when anyone tells him that I'm a bad wife cause I don't pick up after him he totally defends me and tells them where to go. Don't get me wrong, I don't think there's anything wrong with doing things for your hubby if thats your personality and you're enjoying doing it.

Billie - March 14

Yeah, I agree. I don't think that there is anything wrong with doing things for your man. I just don't do it. But Ash, how do you get your man to go on late night craving runs? I hint to my husband all the time that I want Dairy Queen. Am I going wrong by hinting or should I flat out ask him to go?

Billie - March 14

Oh I see where your coming from. If I was a housewife I'd probably do the same things too. I wouldn't get his clothes ready though!! I don't like getting my own clothes ready!!! lol

I was home for about 6 months and I did everything in the house - now I have a job that pays better than his job so I do ... well ... nothing! :) We clean together during the weekends and we do laundry together - I do cook 2 times a week or so. :) He cooks me breakfast every morning :)

In my family I always hear that when the girls get pregnant and has cravings, they would tell their husbands that if they did not get them what they felt like having Ex: ice cream, a hamburger, tacos etc..if they didn't get what they wanted it would be bad for the baby..that the baby could get upset or something like that! I am not sure if it works or not but I do know its funny and that the guys would end up going in the middle of the night to get what their wifes were craving..only in my country I guess!

Billie - March 14

I think that you are lucky Vicky! I wish I had a husband that would cook me breakfast. But, I love my husband the way he is. We know each other very well. I know that he will never cook me breakfast and he knows that I will not iron his clothes! lol

Billie - March 14

I tried that. I told my husband that the baby wanted ice cream. He said, no ice cream before you go to bed!!! ( to my stomach!!!!)

leslie - March 14

ahahahahahah Billie that is soo funny! and I bet that was only an excuse to not go get you ice cream
