Very Uncomfortable

I'm 33 weeks, and my baby is a bit big. She is VERY VERY persistant in staying on one side of my abdomen right by my hip bone, or being all up in my ribs. I am so uncomfortable! What have you all done to try to be more comfortable??

this is going to sound really off the wall but when you do it it will make sense ... just because she is not born yet doesn't mean you should let her get away with it , don't be abusive but push her right back to where you want her to be and try lying in a different position and ask the doctor if it is safe to pin a pillow over ribs with your arms to prevent her from going there...hopefully she will get the message .

My Doc use to tell me to put an ice pack where the baby is laying and they should move. I was always scared I would give her a brain freeze.

My baby was big too. She would lay right under my ribs. I felt like she was trying to wedge her head up in there. I found out in my 40th week that she was frank breech. She was folded in half w/ her feet and her head in my ribs. She would have literally been BUTT first! She was a week late and I had to have a c-section.

Your idea reminded me of the movie Raising Helen when Joan Cusack pats her stomach and ask her unborn baby what she had said about kicking while she was having a conversation. little off subject, but if ya have seen the movie you know what I'm talking about and it's funny.
