I dont know if i am pregnant or not, but possibly may have happened about a week ago right through mid cycle. Anyways, its been a bit of a drunk fling with this guy and i thought he has been pulling out but had been coming inside of me (i know this sounds really ditzy) but it came to light that he thought i was on contreception this morning when i am not have been off hte pill for the last 4 months and having normal regular periods. So my question is i think its too early to detect whether or not i am pregnant from a home pregnancy kit and if i am what happens if i were to take the morning after pill now? Any advice would be great. Cheers.

Taking the morning after pill wouldn't affect your baby if you are pregnant. I've taken it a few times myself, and asked the same thing to the nurse. It would be just like someone that got prego while on reg. BC pills, and continued taking them for a little while before finding out. But for the morning after pill to be effective you are supposed to take it at the latest 3 days after s_x. Good luck! :)

It is hard to tell if it would be too early to detect pregnancy on a home pregnancy test because we don't know when your last period was. People don't normally get an accurate result on a home pregnancy test until their next period is due. If you are late, then you would probably get an accurate result. If your period is coming up soon, then the result would probably say negative, even though you may be pregnant. It would do no good to take the morning after pill now, because it is only effective when taken within 72 hours of unprotected s_x. The best thing to do is to wait for your period, and if it doesn't show up, then take a test. Good luck.
