I'M 15 WEEKS ALONE AND HAVE NOT GAINED A POUND. I HAVE LOST 10 POUNDS WHICH BRINGS MY WHEIGHT TO 124 AND MY EATING HABITS ARE GREAT. THAT’S ON MY GOOD DAYS WITHOUT THE MORING SICKNESS. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO?

Don't worry about it. As long as you are keeping your prenatal appointments and eating it is okay. I was prescribed ice cream daily to gain weight with my first baby. The doctor figured even though I was eating well my calorie count may have been lower than I thought. Introduce a few fatty things to your diet if you haven't already. Ice cream works well because it has the calcium too. Don't force yourself to eat if you have bad morning sickness. Just eat when you feel you can, you'll catch up soon. Make sure you are taking your vitamin at night. This helps with nausea during the days.

Hi, I'm the same. I'm 12wks and I've lost 16lbs from severe m/s. I guess if you're eating healthy then don't worry about it. I'm still sick, am trying to eat what I can, but its ok. You will gain weight when its time. Some people don't gain much or anything till much later. Good luck.

A lot of women loose weight in their first trimester due to eating healthier.

why in the world would you want to gain weight anyway??????????????? Other than the weight you gain from the placenta, sac, baby, and b___bs you dont need to gain any unecessary weight. I know people personally and thru hearsay who never gained more than 20-25 lbs total during teir pregnancy. Dont worry about your weight at all !!! As for myself I didn't gain a single pound until I was about 18-20 weeks. Now at 30 weeks I have gained 20 lbs. I know most of it went to my b___t and thighs !!!!! LOL Just keep eating healthy and stay active in some form and you'll be fine.

Because gaining weight is one way to ensure a contined healthy pregnancy. Pregnancy is more then baby and placenta. You also gain 50% more blood volume. Your body starts to store up fat and nutrients to ensure they are available to the fetus when it is needed. The old adage of 20-25 pounds of weight gain has been proven to be a pretty unhealthy expectation. As long as you are eating healthy foods and getting enough protien (80 grams per day), salting your food to taste, then what you gain will be the sufficient amount for your pregnancy. Trust your body. It knows what to do.

I lost 18 lbs. in my first 4 months due to morning sickness. Now I am 5.5 months and have gained 9 back. Once you stop bein sick the weight will come. Eat whatever you can the healthier the better and keep your doc updated.

Don't worry, you're fine as long as you're eating regular healthy meals and snacks. My friend is 21 weeks pregnant and has only gained 2 or 3 lbs.
