I due in October and don't have scan til 11th May. My 1st pregnancy was single and my second was identical twin boys. Anyone know what my chances of another multiple is or has anyone had 2 or more multiples.

If multiple births run in your family, you have a 1 in 5 chance of having a multiple birth yourself which seems pretty high to me. Don't know if the chances are increased though if you've already had twins.

Thanks Foxy! Multiples do run in family but its back generations. Some say I have a higher chance and others say it's unlikely. At six weeks I measured 12/13wks but I also have a very small fibroid. Guess I'll have to wait til May 11th.

Multiples run in my family and I just did research on the same subject. The 1 to 5 ratio is correct, and they say your chances double if you have already had multiples. Good luck!

My husband's grandmother is a twin and her mother had 3 sets of twins!!!! So your chances do not go down just because you've already had twins. GL
