I told my midwife that my boyfriend had been taking cocaine she told me she had to report him. I started crying and told her I didn't want her to report him she told me she had no option. I wish I'd not said anything now it's making me even more stressed he's not got a bad bone in his body all I wanted was some advice from her I feel totally let down by her I'm even thinking of changing midwives. What's going to happen if he gets reported does anyone know? Who does he get reported too? I don't want this on my baby's notes I thought it had to be patient confidentiality and all that that's why I said something

I don't know why she 'has' to report him. I personally know a bunch of people that do gra__s, cocaine, meth., etc... & a lot of them are REALLY nice people. In my opinion - if they want to do it...so be it. That's their life, not mine. I don't want anybody telling me what to do & I'm sure they don't either. The only thing I have trouble with is the moods some of the drugs put them in. You don't run into that with your boyfriend? I was dating this one guy before that was the 'best'...I loved him so much, & he showed back to me, too...but once he went back on the drugs...he became a completely different person...rude, ignorant & just didn't seem to love me any more. I just couldn't deal with the moods. Also -- you better warn your boyfriend!!
