When do you start to register for your baby items??? Has any one else felt over whelmed with it, for instance not know what to register for or where to start, what it is you need?????

I have wondered the same thing. I am 21 weeks now and my aunt told me that you don't do showers until much later......I always feel guilty about asking other people for stuff but if they are going to buy something, might as well be something I want.....right?

You need to see if there is a event planner in your area to help you if you are over whelmed. My sister got one. It was a great help she help us with registering, setting up the room, anything my sister needed help and they were not the bad priced. Let me know where you are I can get you the name! Good Luck!!!!

I just had my shower. we sent the invitations once month before the party and when we did , we'd done with registering. we did it in several times. First time parents - didn't have a clue as to what we needed to put on the list but they give you a checklist of the essentials to have - mind you (you won't need everything) -

Sorry I'm in Michigan. Try to look for one in your area she was a great help to us. My sister told me that when I do get pg (ttc for years now) she would get her help again. Keep us posted on how you are doing. Number one thing to register for "Womb Bear" it is a teddy bear that you put it the crib and it make sounds like in the womb. My nephew would never sleep unless it was on.
