When To Start Drinking Raspberry Leaf Tea

Hi ladies, or for those who believe in the whole raspberry leaf tea to help labor, I'm unsure when to start drinking it, I've seen both to start around week 30 and then to wait until 37 weeks, but also am confused whether it induces labor or just helps, I have read so much conflicting evidence!

Hi. I bought some raspberry leaf tea and it actually said on the packet, not to drink it before 35 weeks. So, I've been waiting.

I drink it all the time. Ever since 16 weeks. It has a lot of iron and nutrients that are good for the baby. It is also good for labor, but it will not send you into labor. That's ridiculous. I am still drinking it and I'm 24 weeks, I plan to drink it all the way through.

I have heard not to drink it until the end. With my son I started taking a daily vitamin from GNC that is called Red Rasberry Leaf. It prepares your uterus for labor so I wouldn't want to drink it too early.

My packet of raspberry leaf tea specifically says that it should not be drunk in the early stages of pregnancy. They must tell people that for a reason. It also recommends that you drink 3 cups a day.

Me again - August 2

That's the maximum recommended intake.

Well, I'm 33 weeks as of today and wasn't sure if I could start now or if I should wait until I'm full term.

My doctor said it was fine for me, so I will keep drinking it, up until the day I deliver.
