Why Do Baby Movements Vary So Much

I'm 27 weeks and some days I can feel the baby loads and others I won't feel him at all - as if he's not there. Is this normal?

I am one week ahead of you and I experienced that too..I asked the doctor and she said that as baby gets bigger it is harder for him to move around and that when you are up during the day he is being moved and rocked by your movements so he is soothed to sleep. My baby starts moving at the same time almost every day now so he has become more regular with movements. I have also heard that baby boys move and kick more than baby girls.

Thanks Layla, I keep getting worried that there's something wrong. He hasn't moved all today or last night but I guess he's just asleep. Hopefully he will start moving around again later to rea__sure me that he's ok!

Hi ladies, when did you first start feeling your bundle move, I'm eighteen weeks and I can feel the little buger sometimes and none at all, plus I get confused whether I'm feeling it or not! I can't wait to get to your point where it's just plain out kicking!!! How neat!!!

It hurts when the baby kicks sometimes. I am 33w5d and my baby kicks my ribs and head b___ts my bladder and cervix! Sometimes I wish that the kicks would go back the way they were in the beginning. Don't worry about the kick count yet. You will soon be feeling him a lot and more intense!!
