I will be ttc in June -- I would love to stay home after my baby is born, however really need the support of a second income. Does anyone have any real suggestions on working from home? I do type really well (90+ wpm), however where do I get the clientele?

I've been doing some searches online, and there are quite a few websites for work at home moms. So far I've not found a fit for me.... but maybe you would! Since my interests lie in the art and writing areas, I'm considering some freelancing. It seems that is a hard market to break into, though.

Shaleen, if you find anything, please post it. I am a teacher, so I would like to find something to do during the summer months..... just a part-time thing. Extra cash is always nice! :o)

Has anyone checked into medical billing at home? Or medical transcription? I work for law enforcement and I also do at home transcription for a bigger law enforcement agency on the side. It will at least cover the cost of daycare so it helps out and it only takes me a few hours a week to make that up. I know Mayo Clinic has started hiring at home transcriptionists but that's here in Minnesota. Not sure what other hospitals do.
