Can u feed your baby 2 differen't kinds of formula's??? My doctor wants me to try the Enfamil with Iron since I got the wrong kind at the store last time but I still have some Good Start formula left . So can I still feed her the Good Start & feed her the Enfamil with Iron or should I just wait until the Good Start is gone & than feed her the Enfamil with Iron???

I will tell you what I have been advised to do by the nurse at my doctor office......finish the good start then start enfamil.......I tried enfamil and found it was very frothy when you shook it up and so I did not like this as I felt it would create air bubbles and cause problems but good luck since your doctor recommended it.......

the only time you would do that is if you are switching from one formula to another. some drs suggest subst_tuting the old formula with one or two bottles of the new formula (which would be the enfamil) a day. I personally have done what austinsmom did. finish up the old formula and start with the new. With some pedilyte in between to help flush out the old formula.

I use Enfamil with Iron as well. I had to use Similac once because we ran out and the only store open late was out of stock. It didnt seem to effect my ds. On the frothy note, it does get that way but I learn to measure the water in a measuring cup, add the formula and stir it, then put it in the bottle. It helped a lot!
