3 Month Old Sleep Question

my 3-month-old has never been too big on sleeping flat on her back even when i elevate the head part with pillows under the mattress of the cradle. she will wake up and scream as soon as you lay her down. also, she hates tummy time and just mashes her face nto the ground and screams. SO when i put her to bed in the cradle, i put her in this boppy-ish pillow i have except it has a crotch strap thing that goes over the legs, sort of like a swing or stroller might have and she loves it and sleeps comfortably... but am i stunting her development by doing this? she really has no interest in tummy time or being on her back.

I dont know what to tell ya - other than my 3 month old dd is the exact same!! She screams when shes on her tummy - I have been told that this may change when she can roll over and that she might never enjoy it and therefor might walk before she crawls - dont worry though every baby is diffrent and even though there are developmental milestones - each baby developes at their own rate! I am a true believer of this!! Good Luck!

How about putting her on her side? Instead of tummy time, you can have "side time" and that way you're still working with her on rolling over. My son will only sleep on his side -- never on his back. I'm too scared to put him on his tummy.
