how long is your LO up for between naps? my ds was doing great with 1.5-2hrs of awake time between naps ( he only sleeps 30-60 min) but lately he is fighting his naps, screaming terrible when i put him down. so has he outgrown that and need more awake time. He has a 40 min nap at 8:50-9:"30 and now it is 12:30 and he won't nap. i tried and he screamed bloody murder, which he normally doesn'tdo. usually he is fine at nap, takes his soother and closes his eyes. IS he needing more awake time or is he alreay overtired and that's why he is fighting it? he is not showing any tired cues either, but as a infant/newborn he never did, he would be up 5 hrs straight until i learned about the awake time rule thing and then it all got better. but now what should i do?

My dd is almost 6 months and I can tell she tires after about 3hrs of wakefulness. If she is at home (daycare 3days a wk), she will sleep 1.5-2 hrs in the morning and about the same in the afternoon. We are not down to a specific time though.
