My son is 6 months old he has been eating really well and never had any problems. The past few days he won't sit still at feedings and will not finish his bottle. We are lucky to get 4oz down at a time. He acts fine other wise even smiles at us why we are trying to feed him. Is this normal, I am worried he is not getting enough food.

CShell I am having the same problem. My dd is 6.5 months old and she usually eats 3 solids meals and 24 oz of formula. yesterday she only had 13 oz and i am hoping that will change. she barely ate 3 oz at her last formula feeding. I don't want her to get dehydrated. Sorry so long and that I can't help but she acts like she is dying of hunger and then only eats a little.

My son is 6.5 months old and all he ever eats at a feeding is 4 oz at a time, other than his first morning bottle and his bedtime bottle which are both 6 oz. That is just all he wants is 4 oz plus he eats two solid meals a day so he is getting 24 oz of formula and 2 good meals and he is happy and healthy. Also they say when they are teething they start to eat less.
