I wasn't sure what other forum to put this in but I figure since you ladies have had your little ones this would be a good place. Well I had my daughter stillborn 6 weeks ago. I'm very anxious and nervous to try again but I have to wait for that first cycle. So for those of you women who aren't breatfeeding how long did it take for your first af? I have a 3 year old but I br___tfed him and it delayed it a while so I'm not sure when it should return.

I am so sorry to hear your loss. I think from what i was reading the other day, you could get your af again as early as 6-8wks. Best of luck to you.

Please accept my condolences too. I commend you for wanting to more forward and try again soon. I would think your af is just around the corner. I b___stfed my baby until about 5 weeks, and at 6 weeks got my first period. Seemed like it was just waiting for me to stop bf'ing. If you're not already doing ovulation predicting, I would recommend that too, maybe even a few types at a time (temping, OPK's, etc). That might give you some info on what your body is doing until you ovulate, if you haven't already. Good luck with everything!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss! 4 to 6 weeks is average for af to return. Some women are irregular for a while after birth and it can take longer for them to get it back but the average is 4 to 6 weeks pp.
