I ve been feeding my baby jarred food all this time, I just wonder if that's ok, is there any preservatives in it and also when I can start giving him my food? If I plan to cook my baby's meal, is it ok to use frozen vegetable, if so how long can I keep the food in the freezer using ice cube?

here is a timeline you could follow in regards to your questions: http://www.askdrsears.com/html/3/T030500.asp (there shouldn't be any dashes)

I only ever used jar food, and when I tried to start homemade food my baby resisted it, and I didn't want him to get fussy so I stopped all jar food and started making all his meals. It's soo easy. Just mash everything up that you are having (unless it's really spicy) and if it's too gluggy, add cooled boiled water. I always use frozen vegetables as they say that they are just as nutricious as fresh. If you are going to put it in an ice cube tray, I would cover the tray so the food doesn't get "freezer smell" taste. My boy loves lasagna, spag bog, sausages, burgers, potato, vegies - anything really. I always add gravy or grated cheese to give it flavour and he has become a really good eater. One thing I have learned for my boy, is that if I give him pasta or potato, to give him juice along with it instead of milk, as it tends to block him up and the juice helps counteract that.
