I just booked a trip in march to go to florida. We wanted to go to orlando for 1 of the days and was wondering what 2 adults traveling w/ a 1 year old could do? Something fun that's stroller friendly (no rides obviously) He's to young for disney land, so anyone from that area that can suggest something?

Sea World's great. I haven't been there since I had kids, but it would be fun and baby-friendly! Incidentally, my oldest son was conceived in Orlando on vacation (sorry, tmi)... so good memories there lol.

In the back of Sea World is a baby area - for b___stfeeding, with rocking chairs, changing area, etc... There is Lizard Beach with a huge kiddy area (you have to have small children to enter). Animal Kingdom. Ripley's Believe It or Not. TuTuTangos has shows with sword swallowers, etc that small children seem to like. There are tons of mini golf places. Space Station is about 45 mins away, helicopter tours - goodness there is so much to do! (My sister lives an hour south - we visit 3x a year) Have fun!

Oh - the Aquarium in Tampa. It's an hour drive from Orlando, but its great. I'll stop now - my son is waking up!

I was thinking maybe seaworld too, but kind of wanted to go somewhere different since there's a sea world not to far from where I live. mcatherine, is lizard beach in sea world? I tried to google it and nothing comes up? Maybe I'll check out the aquarium, we are flying into tampa. Thanks everyone!

My oldest son is laughing at me. He says it's named Blizzard Beach. Sorry.

thats funny because when I googled it, it said "do you mean blizzard beach?" How funny!!

It was funny until he started running around worried about finding his bathing suit and goggles. He thought we were headed to Florida this weekend, lol! (Not until April...ah, I miss sun).
