I have had major headaches, irrabitily, extreme tiredness lately and I have my period now but it is horrible. It feels like morning sickness. Oh my mouth is constatly watering like before you get sick and I'm craving thngs I normally don't like - like sweat tarts and lemon. Thinking maybe I'm anemic? Anyone want to take a stab at diagnosing me? No time to go to the doctor.

is this your first pp period? If so, you might just be hormonal and craving things. I always want weird things when it's that time of the month! I would suggest taking a vitamin c tablet since lemon and sweet tarts are both high in vitamin c. Your body tends to crave the things you need. I'm not sure I could diagnose you though. If you aren't taking any vitamins right now, you could take an iron supplement and see if you feel better, or just eat some spinach =) allot of women loose allot of iron with their period.

yes im anemic. you sound similar to me but with a few differences. i dont get that morning sickness feeling but i get everything else, also, i get a yellow tinge to my skin colour so i guess thats something else to look out for. but i guess it does depend on the severity. just make up a huge batch of spinach and saute it with some garlic and b___ter, usually does the trick for me. and rest if you need to. but when it comes to low iron, you really should consult your doc. maybe take an extra iron supp ontop of what you are taking.

but im not sure on the maximum amount of iron your body can handle so u do need to ask your doc. can you call them?

Thats funny I used to eat a ton of spinach but since that whole ecoli outbreak I have been leary of it. Will pick some up this weekend and seeif it does the trick- thanx. Whenever I call my doc they say come in- don't have the extra cash or time. Will definetly go if it gets worse. Cheaper than a divorce!!

I hemmoraged severely after giving birth and I have been really anemic for the past 7 months... my levels went up for a short period, but they are low again. I get headaches, really tired, and i do get the morning sickness feeling. I also bruise really easilly. my dr just told me to take iron supplements and eat meat.

How old is your baby? Look up thyoiditis. It happens after you have a baby. First you thyroid will go over active. Sometimes it will then return to normal, but sometimes it will then become under active. I am coming off the over and we are retesting it in a month to see if it goes under. Sorry - can't type much right now - Max finally fell asleep in my arms...
