Well, we went yesterday for her 1 year Dr visit. She got the MMR, Chickenpox and her final Prevnar vaccine. She is 30.5 inches tall (89%) and 18.5 lbs (12%) Bid differnce huh?? The Dr said she is not concerned. She is happy, healthy, smart and CONSTANTLY in motion. She couldn't believe how well she was talking, walking and just all over the place. She told me she acts more like a 15-18 month old!! I guess that is a good thing?! Well.. just wanted to give you all an update. Also, for Rabbits.... you are not the only one with a small baby!!

Sounds liek a greta appointment. Mason's got rescheduled for next Thursday. I am newrvous about what she will say because he can't even get himself into a sitting position. His motor skills seem WAY far behind to me, yet his cognitive seems ahead since he can do some shapes ina shape sorter already. The kid is wierd. he is HUGE though so maybe that's why he won't move??? :(

Good luck at your appointment, Bonnie!! I am sure Mason will do great!!

my ds just had his and he is 31 inches long LOL he is 95th so looks your dd is almost as tall as my ds LOL my dh is 6' 5" so I kinda figured my ds was gonna be tall. Are you or dh tall? But that is great she is doing so well my ds also wieghed 23.4lbs so he's a bit fatter LOL!!

ashtynsmom - January 25

No, dh and I are both 5'8". My dad is 6 foot, but DH's family are all munchkins! I am taller than both of his parents!! ha She may take it after my dad and grandpa ( he was a little over 6 foot).

5'8 is tall in my book. I'm 5'1 1/2 and I'm the tall one on my side of the family....lol. No joke. My mom is only 5'1 and my sister is 4'10. My dad is a smidge taller than me. Dh is 6'2 though and I was hoping that at least our boys would take after him, but it ain't looking so good right now.

Hey ashytnsmom, Ethan will be 1 this friday and he is still on the bottle. I am suprised the doctor told you that your LO should be completely off of them, I agree, give some time to adjust..sheesh. We will see what Ethans Peds says this Monday. I will get back to ya.

Yours and mine are almost in the exact same boat together. Just as their names are similar they seem to progressing the same. My little man was 29 inches tall and 19 pounds at his 1 year a couple of weeks ago. I find it hilarious that his head is only 10 inches less than his whole body ...his head size was 19 inches lol.

ashtynsmom - January 25

They didn't tell me what her head was. I watched them measure it, but they just showed it to me on the progression chart- she didn't give me an actual number!
