I can think of several things I bought (or recieved as gifts) for dd.. and I thought to myself "when is she EVER going to use this?!?!", and oddly enough, it became one of the things I use the most. Baby slippers are at the top of that list.. at first I thought they were nonsence.. but now she wears them everyday. And babybanz sunglasses... they were useless for 2-3 months, but are now priceless! What are the baby items you thought would be duds, but you now cant live without....?

Receiving blankets. I thought I would only use them while ds was tiny but now I use them for burp pads, on the changing table, in the playpen, etc.

Def. receiving blankets for mandee's reasons... also when your kids are too old for them they make great dusting cloths lol.

I was given a Kolcraft lights and vibrate ba__sinet. I would have never bought one. But when Max showed up 6 wks early and was so tiny and slept all day long, it was so nice just to roll that ba__sinet from room to room with me thru out the day. We used it until he was 3 1/2 months old so I think we got our fair share of use out of it.
