Bathing Baby

I've been giving my 4 month old baths in the sink which works out pretty well. Only problem I have is since she is so long, 25 inches, she will stretch out her legs and bump her head on the other end. She never cries when she does this I'm just worried that she will one time. I keep my one hand under her neck to support her and wash with the other. I've tried keeping my hand over the spot on her head where she bumps it but then her neck is not supported. Do any of you think that her bumping her head could be dangerous or am I just being paranoid? am thinking about getting a plastic baby tub.

I have a plastic tub that fits into the sink, and it's great. Also, if you don't want to get one, you could drape a towel down the side of the sink to pad the place where she bumps.

I don't think she'll get hurt if you're holding her well...but maybe it's time for a baby tub : )

yeah, i would say get one of those tub things. i was never able to put my son in the sink because he's too big and the sink is too small... i wish i could have thou. its very uncomfertable to give him a bath in the bath tub.

the only reason I never used the kitchen sink is bc of the draft...the bathroom in our house is just warmer : )
