Bratz Bling Bling Dolls

This isn't really an infant care question, but I have to know does anyone else find those Bratz "Bling-Bling" dolls really gross?? We were shopping for presents and I came across those things and was so offended! I'm not one to say much about things like that, but I couldn't believe those dolls. I guess I'm just tired of s_x being sold to our kids, and that's really what it feels like to me. Am I overreacting?

My cousin asks for one every year and I was going to get her one until I saw them. They look like hoochies! I don't think anything bad about parents who do but what happen to Barbies? These dolls need to go to the salon and get a lesson on make up! A little lip liner goes a long way.

Eryn, you just mentioned barbie,it is so sad the way they have changed her,she does not look anything like barbie no more.BTW,I agree,I really don't like the looks of those bratz dolls!!

OMG! I totally agree! My nieces are in LOVE with these dolls. Everyone makes such a big deal about Barbie being a bad influence on young girls, but at least Barbie doesn't look like a tramp! The scariest thing about the Bratz dolls is that they don't have feet!!! When you take off their shoes they are left with stumps until you snap a new shoe onto the bottom of their leg!

I HATE THOSE DOLLS!!!!! if I had a daughter she would never have them...they look like cheap barbies.....

You know the worst thing about barbies? They've changed the shape of the bodies. When Valerie was a baby, I made tons of barbie clothes, figuring she'd play with them when she was old enough. The new barbies don't fit any of the stuff I made.

They are too s___tty for my liking. I can not see how that is appropriate for a young girl to play with. They wear way too much make-up and not enough clothing.

Theres a new barbie?

Jbear - December 28

Eryn, the barbie I had when I was sewing had big b___bs, a tiny waist and round hips...like the barbies I had when I was growing up. The ones I've bought for my daughter have smaller b___bs, a slightly wider waist, and hips that stick out further on the sides, but are more flattened...it's hard to describe, she's shaped more like a very skinny person than like a doll now.

It sounds like the updated arbie's body for the times. emember how people complained about how unrealistic her proportions were? I guess they did something about it. I never saw the Bratz dolls, but if Bling Bling is in their name, they can't be too good.

Sorry about double-posting. Not sure what happened there.

I just wish they'd make some patterns for new barbie...

Thm bratz dolls are c___p. I hope they die off before Leigh gets old enough to play with them. I can't believe how s___tty they are. And they are for kids from 4 to 10 (usually). They shouldn't know about make-up and tarty clothes so young. Whatever happened to an innocent childhood!!!

i think - December 28

they should be renamed SLUTZ! I hate those dolls!

Narcissus - December 28

LOL!! SLUTZ is perfect. How about WHORZ??

Toya - December 28
