How old is baby? My dd took both b___sts and was still hungry at just over 4 months...that is when I started cereal. Babies need mostly milk until 9 months, but if you have established solid foods then they are fully capable of eating a lot of the same things you eat by that time. Certain things they dont recommend until they are 12 months: milk, honey, salt, sugar, some tropical fruits..etc. But a nine month old, if weaned, can eat chicken, spaghetti, finger foods, and things of that nature. I would say sometime between 8 and 9 months baby can eat lumpier mashed foods and move on from there.

she is 5 months now, i started her at the begining of the month, so far she has only had rice cereal. So i was looking at kellymom actually and it says to only feed them one meal if food a day until they are about 8-9 months and add another and then another when they are around 1,does that sound right? ithought maybe there was one set way to do everything but it looks like it just depends on what you decide on as for b___stmilk with a meal(and how much) or not.Probably a__sumed so because everything has been so strict about what to do with babies.
