Last night, my 10 week old daughter kept on breaking her latch and "re-latching" incorrectly and I ended up with a big crack on my nipple that turned into a blister and everytime she nurses it kinda hurts. I can deal with the pain but is it safe for her to nurse from that br___t?? Has anyone else had a blister like this and if so how long did it take to go away?

I got a blister on my left nipple when I first had my son. It is completly safe for them to feed on it, but you might want to use cream to help heal it. It took about 2-3 days to heal for me. I have had blisters everytime I started b___stfeeding with all 3 kids.

Yep mine cracked right away but you have to keep feeding. Use lanoline cream to help heal the crack or maybe pump on that b___st until it heals up.

I got a blister on my left nipple when my daughter was born - I didn't nurse that side for a few days, until it healed.
