For those of you who did not br___tfeed, how long did it take for your br___ts to stop leaking after delivering?? Thanks in advance

I quit BF about 3 wks ago, and I can get in the shower and milk still comes out. I figured they would dry up w/in a few weeks but its still squirting out like crazy. Your OB can give you a pill to dry it up, but if your not having any clogged ducts just, squeeze it out in the shower. Seems to work for me, I have'nt leaked yet. GL

if you want them tot totally dry up, then don't squeeze the milk out --even a little bit...the more you stimulate your nipples, the longer you will produce milk. you will probably become engorged and will be uncomfortable, but it'll go away w/in a couple of days.

i attepmted to BF for like a week after my son was born...he couldnt get anything form me and it became a struggle for us both , so i just switched to formula...i was stresseing him out to much...BUT the problem was it took me 2 whole weeks after i had him for my milk to even come in and my son is 3 months and even still if i hit them or bump them the wrong way or a little to hard i leak...and about the pill, my ob/gyn said not take them b.c they have led to b___st cancer...but al drs are different..i personally wouldnt take it...but talk to your dr and see...
