BURPING Problems

my dd does not like pausing to burp! sometimes she screams so hard she turns bright red! i try and let her go a few ounces before pausing, but she still gets mad. I have to burp her though, she spits up a lot and if I didnt burp her she would be in bad shape. Any ideas how to getr her to not be such a pickle about burping??? there are times when she doesnt seem to mind but mostly she hollers when i take that bottle out!

LOL I wish I could answer that one. Mason was always the same way. It's a vicous cycle. If they don;t burp, they have pains and throw up. But if they cry to much they get more air. I just did the best I could and played it by ear. Luckily she will grow out of it. Those first few months are so tough!

My dd was the same way (well, still is). Now I just wait until she gets really squirmmy and then I burp her. I used to do it after an ounce or two, but now I just let her tell me when she is ready.

My ds hates to burp too. Like Kel said, he lets me know when he is ready now.
