I'm br___tfeeding my baby and have almost always burped her after her feedings. How much longer must I burp her after her meals?

until your baby is active enough to burp on their own. when she is moving along well enough on her own, ie crawling, walking...etc...that's when you do not need to burp her.

I asked my doc about this nd I think he said until 4-6 months, when they can burp on their own. tierney's answer makes a lot of sense too.

I read at 4 months... But I notice that, when I burp Billy, he is less likely to spit up. I wonder, though - do I burp after solids?

My daughter is 5 months, and I still burp her after bottles (but not solids). I find that she can burp on her own, but Like KrisD, I find she doesn't spit up as much if I burp her.
