Yes corn is fine. Typically the yellow and orange veggies are best first foods. Gerber has a nice organic line if you run low on time.

I kind of find this confusing. I homemade my dd food. Tho shes 14 months and has had everything but peanut b___ter. I read in a few places to avoid corn for the first year as its high on the allergen list. But berries I believe its the strawberry family, blueberries are fine I know, are also high on the list and they also say to avoid til a year. But doesn't gerber make certain foods that contain that as well? I know my dd had berries early and corn by 10 months but I just found that observation a little strange.

BRITT - i agree with you i thought it was weird when i was buying the Stage 2 and its corns, and citrus and berries. But hes eating ALL of those things and LOVES all the foods so i am giving it to him theres been no reactions whatsoever. I would think they wouldnt give in Stage 2 if it were harmful for them this young. In my opinion.
