I know there are certain things like berries and nuts to stay away from, but can I give my dd lychees? They are an exotic fruit, but I can't find any information about how if they are a bit allergy risk. Anybody know?

you may want to ask your doctor about this one....

Ask your ped. Or give the baby just a taste wait up to 72 hrs if she doesnt react to it then she's ok to eat it. If she does give her/him half a teaspoon of Benadryl. I have a daughter who has alot of allergys to food. GL

I'm not sure if he'll know what they are. I didn't know what they were but my dh came home with some and gave one to the baby. She seemed to like it and had no reaction, but then we got nervous because I know things like kiwi and strawberries are bad and don't know much about lychees. I tried to look it up online but can't find much (besides, they are sweet and healthy).

If she ate it and didnt break out with red dots all over her face and/or didnt get gas then keep giving it to her. She's loving it then great let her have it.

Strawberries are bad? Oops-my daughter has had strawberries multiple times. Well, she has never reacted to anything so I guess its okay. If she didn't react she should be fine. :D

I would have thought it's fine. My health visitor told me I could give any food to Sophie after 6 months as long as it was mashed (except salty things). I gave my 7 month old a lychee the other day in small bits and she's fine. We've also given her strawberries and she's fine with those too.
