Can My Child Sense My Pregnancy

I am 18 weeks pregnant with my second child. I have a 16 month old son, and lately he has been so clingy and just needing me to hold him and cuddling with me. Do you think it's possible that he notices that something is changing with mommy and that things are going to change soon?? I don't know if this is a stupid question, I just had to ask.

i dont think it is stupid, my daughter who is 3 started acting differntly before i said anything, or showed too.

I think children can totally sense things like that. My daughter who was 3 at the time, started saying things like she had a baby in her tummy and was pointing to mine and telling me I had one too. Well 2 weeks later, I found out I was pregnant. I was only about 5 or 6 weeks when I took the test, so my daughter knew when I was about 3 or 4. That's just my opinion though. She also kept saying she was going to have a boy baby, she was right about that too, but maybe that was coincidence.

I don't think it's a stupid question. My son is a year and I'm 20 weeks. I don't think he knows what's going on though. Only that mommy's tummy's getting bigger! ;)

He has just gotten so clingy in the past few weeks. He has never been like this before. He will walk away from me, play for a few minutes, and then come crying to me for me to pick him up and put him in my lap. I just thought it was really interesting how they can sense this stuff. SHANA, that is amazing how your daughter knew!!

It was pretty amazing, I was just glad she said it to other people so they didn't think I was crazy. We also let her choose between 2 names. My husband and I couldn't agree so she picked it. That's an interesting story for when he gets older.
