my dd is almost 9 weeks old... and she seems to be starving! she is 12lbs 8oz (according to my scale- today we will see what the dr's scale says) and she eats more than most books say a normal 2 month old should eat. at night she seems to want 7, sometimes even 9 oz! usually during the day she eats 4-6oz every 3 or 4 hours. do you think it would hurt to put a tbs or so in her cereal before bedtime? just something more filling so she doesnt need 9oz!!?? what would you do? im gonna ask the dr today too, but mom's always know best!

I'd say no. Cereal in a bottle is not a good idea unless your ped recommends it due to reflux. If you feel inclined to give your baby cereal, it's always best to spoon feed, but I would personally wait until 4 months of age.

I agree with Steph. No cereal. Babies that young do not have a digestive system strong enough for cereal and you risk giving your baby one heck of a tummy ache. It sounds to me that your little one may be going through a growth spurt which is totally normal, but it seems like all they want to do is eat. If she wants 7 or 9 oz, then give her that. My dd always eats more at night...to fill her belly enough to make it through the night.
