Convertible Car Seat Recommendations

Sometime in the next month or so my ds is going to need to make the switch into the convertible car seat, & I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations. As of right now I am leaning toward the Britax Boulevard, Britax Marathon, or Fisher Price Safe Voyage. From what I have seen, they seem to have good safety ratings. And they hold the child in the 5 pt. harness until 55 or 65 lbs...which I like. Any advice or help would be great! Thanks.

I have the cow-print Britax Marathon, and I really like it.....plus it looks really cool! My dd used to hate her infant seat, and would scream in the car....but seems to be much more comfortable (and happy) in the Marathon. I also like that it has a higher weight limit, so she'll be in it longer.....

Hi we also have the Britax Marathon and we're very happy with it. Ds seems to like it much better than his infant seat!

I have the Marathon. I wanted to look at the Safe Voyage but apparently Babies R Us had taken them off all the shelves when I was shopping in November.

I wanted to check out the Safe Voyage but I couldn't find any stores that actually carried them. I found them online lots of places, but I wanted to feel it before I bought it. So many carseats are just so hard and uncomfortable feeling. I bought a britax Marathon for my car and I bought a Graco Comfort Sport for my parents car. The comfort sport is not nearly as comfy as the marathon, but they never have him in the car for more than 30 at a time so it was an good choice for them, especially since the let that d__n dog of theirs in their car. The Britax plush upolstery would be covered in dog fur. And the Comfortsport and the Marathon both preformed well in the safety test so I am fine with DS using it in their car.

Also, I got the gray granite Marathon and it looks as great as the day I took it out of the box.
