Dd Biting The Rails Is It Ok

My dd has recently learnt to pull up and stand on her crib and she loves to bite on the rails. I make her sit down and she stands up again and again and bites. She bites real hard (as I guess she is teething) that a clicking sound comes from the crib. Is this normal or is she damaging her teeth and gums?

Does your crib have rail teether's on it? They are plastic covers that go over the top rails. If your crib doesn't have them I would get some so she doesn't get the paint and wood in her mouth, which could be dangerous. Not so much the paint, because it is baby safe, but the wood. You can get the rail teether's at babies r us or target and they are pretty inexpensive $9.99 or so.
