Did I Spoil Her

Kamrie is now 7 months old I think I may pull my hair out. Last week we got new floors put in our house. So, yesterday her dad and I had to clean and move everything back. It took forever because everytime I sat her down she screamed. It didnt matter if she was on the floor , in her exersaucer or her jumperoo she was just not having it. This was not the first time it is like this every day. If she is not being held or played with she is screaming!!! I can not get anything done. Then at night time she has to sleep right beside me or else she screams. I know that being a mother is a full time job but I feel like I have no time to myself!!!

She sounds just like my 7 month old. Serenity is normally a very content little girl, but the last week or so, she's been very clingy. I had attributed it to jetlag, since we just came back from the US, but perhaps it's a normal phase?

yes unfornatuely they do that. My other daughter is 21 months old and still does the same thing. Can't walk out of her sight without her coming after me. Welcome to motherhood.

Matthew - 9 months old - is VERY clingy too at the moment. He didn't use to be like that but I think this is separation anxiety.

Sounds like my 7-month dd too. I think our babies are just learing how to manipulate us is all : )
