Eating First Thing In The Morning

My son has stopped wanting his bottle in the morning. He sleeps 8-8 and I have always fed him (bottle) about 10 minutes after waking up, but the past few days he doesn't want it at all. Do you think it's normal for a baby to not want to eat after 12 hours? Should I just wait to give him the bottle until he acts more like he wants it? He's taking all his other bottles/solids just fine, so I'm not sure what to do... (He's a week shy of 6 mos) Thanks

My dd is 9.5 months, and I have noticed that for the past few months.....she seems to like to have a little play-time before breakfast. I am b___stfeeding her, and she also sleeps 12 hrs at night...so I would a__sume she'd be starving by morning. Maybe just wait a bit, and give him some time to wake up a bit first.

My dd is the same way. She is a year old now, but this has been going on for about a month and a half...maybe 2 months. My dd would much rather have a bowl of rice crispies than have a bottle. I guess it means it will be easier for me to wean her.
