ok...Trinity will be 13 weeks tomorrow and she eats ALOT (at least I think so) ... She wasn't gaining weight in the beginning, but now there's no problem! She eats 32-34oz. a day....that's 6oz. every 2 hrs. or so....is that alot?? Last night she had 6oz. then a half hour later was still hungry so I gave her 1 tbl spoon of cereal for the first time...then a half hour later...STILL hungry...she ate another 2oz.....was I wrong to giver her cereal?? I know she's only 3 months, but the milk isn't cutting it anymore...does anyone else have a baby like this?? Should I have not given her the cereal?? what would you do?? thanks =)

How much does she weigh?

it does sound like she may need a little more but check with your doctor to see what he/she says about cereal you might be able to put a tsp. or to in each bottle but if you do spoon feed her rice cereal stick with that for at least 2 weeks becouse of the weight issues starting solids can cause (my dd loves to pig out she will eat almost anything I started her on solids at 3 1/2 months she isnt over wieght) but be sure to check with the doctor for advice good luck

My son will be 12 weeks on Friday and I am going throught he same thing. My doctor says he should be drinking between 28-32 ounces of formula daily. Some days it 's more and I worry that he is going to get to heavy. At his 2 month check he weighed 13 lbs., 11ozs and is 23"

hmmm...well at her 2 mo. check-up she was 9lbs. that was Dec.15th...so I'm anxious to see what her weight is now..it just seems like alot to me...
