Well I had a post on here not to long ago about how my daughter had a rash on both her arms (where they bend). Well she had her 15mth checkup yesterday and come to find out its eczema. Has anyone else lo had this and if so what did you do. Im just hoping that this is something that will clear up.

Eczema can be pretty common with babies and toddlers and doesn't necessarily mean that it will be a life long problem. Use unscented wipes, lotions, soaps, and what not as well as hypoallergenic laundry detergent. Certain food allergies can bring on eczema like wheat, tomatoes, dairy...something to look into. I had a friend whose lo had the extreme version of eczema and her diet had to be really controlled, but it made all the difference. I know wheat was a big no no. Good luck!

Hello Breaunasmommy.......my lo got diagnosed with eczema at around 4 months old and was prescribed elidel....has your lo been prescribed anything? I posted back then (lo is now 9 and half months) because I did not like the thought of giving my son something that it said right on the tube not to give to children under 2. I got a lot of suggestions of other otc products to try and so I started trying them...........the product over the counter that worked best for me was the aveeno for babies with eczema or extra dry skin. It is in the tan tube and has a dark navy blue top. I is great and "cured" my son because lo has not had a problem with eczema now for over 5 months. Feel free to speak further if you would like I will check back on your thread if you have any further questions......
