I just got a can of this and made 1 bottle to see if it would help with Trinity's spitting up...well she didn't like it.,maybe bc it has to mixed with cold water??..is anyone else using this formula?? If so...would you like a can?? it was so expensive and I don't want to throw it away :(

Maybe she's not use to it. Try half old formula and half new formula or... 1new:3old

Just a question...After it is mixed with cold water, can you then warm it up?

Barb - January 14

no...you can't warm it up...it's the warmth that "thickens" it so they don't spit-up....it thickens in their belly : ) I could try your suggestion zacks mom...

Barb I warm my baby water before mixing. This help me a lot with him accepting formula. I tried emfamil and had to switch to soy cause it was hurting his tummy.

My son has reflux and was put on the A.R. I alsout cereal in his bottles to thicken. I took the cereal away because he was vomiting the same with or without it. Now he is doing good with just formula. I mix mine with regular water in a jug and add ga__s drops because it's foamy. Just shek it enough and yo won't have a problem with the clumps. Also, I make 3-4 bottles ahead of time and heat them in the microave as I need then. He is doing great.

Try mixing half regular formula and half AR...I had to do that because even the cold water from the taps here was hot enough to thicken the formula. I only used one can of it myself. I started propping my daughter up on her boppy during feeding time and for a little while afterwards. The spitting up is something they outgrow after a while.
