Ok, so this may be a dumb question but I am kind of wanting to get out of the house and get a few things done tonight but my 10 month old has a wicked cold. We have all been cooped up in the house for the past 5 days and i am wondering if you think it is harmful to take her out when she is sick. Of course I would BUNDLE her up snug and warm (it is really cold out here). I wonder if a little fresh air and change of scenary would do her good or is it best to keep her home? She is so fussy and needy I am starting to go a little crazy! (Dont attack I am loving and cuddling her 24-7) :)

I wouldn't see a problem with it...just keep her warm like you said. Also, be courteous and wipe off the handles of any buggies or anything she touches before you leave a store so as not to pa__s it on to any children whose mommies may not be buggy wipers :-)

I agree w/ Rabbits. I've had to take my kids out when they were sick to run errands (with 3 kids I'd be inside the whole winter if I waited for everyone to be cold-free LOL). Like she said, try to protect others... and I think your dd will be fine ;-)

Oh i def. would keep her hands (and her germs) to herself! I am still having a fit becasue my aunt asked me to watch her 6 and 8 year old last Friday and they came over with HUGE green snots coughing all over her toys. i tried to keep her away and disinfect everything but that obviously did not work. It really made me mad!

Ry...I think that the fresh air would be good for her. At least its a tad bit warmer here today than it has been all week. LOL
