A new thread! Hope everyone's good. David slept from 9:15 last night until 7:10 this morning, getting up only once at 9:45 (and I was still awake so it wasn't bad). I planned to feed him at 10, but H said "let's put him down and see." Well, he put David down and it worked. I feel bad that David didn't have that 5th bottle, but he obviously wasn't hungry enough to wake up. OK, he's crying now and the nanny isn't here today so I gotta go! Later!

Alana slept from 9 to 12 last night, then sporadically after that.. she has been squirming a lot at night the past few nights. MELISSA - what does BF baby diarrhea look like? Alana pooped a lot yesterday, and the last 3 or 4 poops were what I would describe as more watery and clear, even though they were still yellow tinted. I guess the only word to describe it is almost mucous-y? Who knows. JO, good to hear David's sleeping through the night - if he doesn't need that bottle, I wouldn't worry about it. He might be eating that one out of habit rather than hunger.

Jo, glad David did well..Nat did also...she was difficult to get down...but did at 10pm...and didntwake til 541am for a bottle, then right back to sleep...shes still down and its almost 9am. I kinda like the later sleeping schedule. Jeremy was always down for the night really early, but then he was up at the crack of dawn. I hated that. Christine, Natalie had a rreally runny poop yesterday also...she went like 4 times and each time it got looser and yellower. Its cold today...so crazy..last week in the 90's, now i have the heat on.

So DH had to go in for 3-4 hours of training on his DAY OFF.. so basically he works 5 12-hour shifts this week, had yesterday off, and still has to go in for a few hours today. Poor guy.

Suze: sorry I got you out of bed this morning...oops! Christine: the way the doc described it was soupy. I still to be honest can not really tell the difference except that it was like putting a can of soup in her diaper..almost water like. So I would think that maybe what you are duscribing could be it...it is so hard to tell with bf poop! Ellis did good last night too. 9-3am then up at 6 to eat (i wake her up for that one usually..I know it sucks that I have to do that) then back down until 7:45 when we leave to take D to school. Sorry about all the typo's..doing this one handed!!!! Suze: I am loving the weather..nothing likr big sweatshirts to hide the flab!!!!!

melissa, im glad you called ! I need to get my a. rse out of the warm covers. I actually had to wake Natalie up too.. Its haircut day for Jeremy...he looks like Ronald McDonald. He wants to go to the zoo, im debating..maybe just [part of it..its so HUGE. So we,re off.. Looking forward to tommorrow Melissa.

SUZE: I'm hoping David will be a somewhat-late sleeping in the mornings. H gets up at like 5 every day (even weekends) and I've always been someone who could sleep until 11am (from 10 or 11pm the night before!), so I hope David follows in my footsteps. Right now, I was able to get him down for a nap - something I've never really been able to do. So far he's been asleep a whole 12 minutes! KAREN: Let me know what your schedule is like. I have a feeling yours is harder b/c of the 2 kids. Even though I work during the day, depending on when you wanna meet, I could take a half day or something.

I'm writing really just to bump this to the top. Don't want this thread to get moved onto the next page! But I might as well write while I'm here. It's 7am and David is still sleeping. I put him down at 8:45 last night and without a bottle! He finished one at 7:30-ish, and I was holding him, swaying back and forth as I watched TV (not purposely to get him to sleep), and I noticed at 8:45 that he fell asleep!! So I put him in his crib and voila! I think he's getting up now, but I'm already up (obviously). Was doing some work. I just hate that he only drank 22 ounces yesterday; I really don't think that's enough, but that's all he took. He goes to the doctor on Monday so I'm gonna ask about it. So last night, H and I were on the couch watching TV and he goes, "So I don't wanna fight anymore. I love you so much and I don't wanna get divorced." We talked a little bit (I guess that can only happen when he brings it up because he must be in the right frame of mind) and I felt a little better. I explained some more things from my viewpoint and he did his. Basically, he feels underappreciated and unloved. He hates that I never just, out-of-the-blue, say "I love you" or go up to him and give him a hug. I guess that's what he needs so I'll try. I told him he HAS to stop opening his mouth to me the way he does, and that's why I don't do the things he likes. We'll see what happens...

Hey girls, happy Friday! Just wanted to pop in before everyone wakes up over here! Christian was up at 3AM, wanting to play!! I don't know what his problem was. I finally got him back to sleep at like 4. Of course Tyler was sleeping at that time. It's almost 8:30 & Christian's still sleeping. My MIL is coming today so I can get a mani & pedi for the reunion. I'm still debating on what to wear. Oh I have the worst cramps ever! Last night I was doubled over it was so bad. Hopefully the pill will help that! Melissa, I got the miracle blanket yesterday so I'll give it a shot tonight. Jo, sounds like David is doing really well! I have no idea how many oz Tyler drinks! Is that bad? lol With Christian I wrote everything down but not with Tyler. Poor kid. lol I'm pretty much free during the week. The kids go to the ped on Wed. but other than that I have nada going on. lol I don't know if I'll take both with me, maybe just Tyler if my MIL is around to watch Christian. Gotta go, bbl.

JerseyGirl - October 12

KAREN: Enjoy the reunion. I hope you're not still depressed about your hair! Actually, next week looks bad for getting together. Monday I have to pick-up my mom & Joe from the airport and David has his 4-month check. Tuesday the car has to be here because they're coming to replace the windshield that H broke. Wednesday I have a conference call for work in the middle of the day. Thursday my cousin from up north (in Verona) is coming down to visit. Friday is nothing though, so maybe then. The following week is more open. The nanny is here Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am until 3pm, so I'd like to meet either Mondays or Thursdays, or any of those 3 days after 3pm. Hopefully we'll find some time soon!

So it is official..Ellis is sick AGAIN!!! With all that sleeping today I knew something was up..(see Suze I told she was not her usual self!) Anyway after dropping Dylan off..(she was still sleeping) I took her out of her car seat and thought that she felt warm...gave her a while to cool off from being in the seat...and she was still warm. I took her temp and she had a 101.7 temp. I think it is just the cold (Suze I really hope REALLY HOPE that we did not get nat sick). I have given her some motrin and it is down to 99.8 and that was three hours AFTER I gave her the mortrin. Hopefuly she is better tomorrow. DH and I were going to get to go out JUST THE TWO OF US for dinner and a night of drinks tomorrow for his birthday. ERRR kids sure have a way of knowing the right time to get sick. Suze I had another great time with you. it seemed so much more relaxed this time...hummm I wonder why???? Have a great night all. I have a feeling I will be up all night with little snot bucket! Oh by the way can I actually give her anything for the stuffy nose?

krnj - October 13

Ugh, Melissa that sucks. I can't believe they just pulled Pediacare off the shelf!! I used to give that to Christian when he was sick. Hope she gets better soon! Hope your hubby has a nice bday. Oh get this, I went to a s_x toy party last night!! It was very funny! I actually bought some stuff. Why, I don't know. S_x what's that?? LOL I'm getting nervous about the reunion tonight! I have the worst cramps! I really didn't want to have AF tonight!! My hair isn't too bad, I tried curling it & it looks a little better I guess. Jo maybe the following week would be better? I'm even free on Saturdays since dh is working. Let me know. Hope everyone has a great weekend! I'm not sure if I'll have time to come back on or not today.

MELISSA - you can just use saline and the aspirator, no decongestants. Here, I would have taken Alana to the hospital - they say 100.4 for babies our age needs to go in, at least where I am. Dangit.. she's up.. be back later!

c_baer19 - October 13

Oh, and terrible news... I'm getting a cold sore! I thought I was done with these.. fantastic.

Melissa32179 - October 13

Ugg...Christine cold sores SUCK the big one. I use to get them all the time then my step mom came across some vitamin. It starts with an L. I took it every day for the two years I lived with my dad and step mom and I did not get one the whole time. Now I only get them when I am REALLY stressed or when I am sick. As for the fever the docs here say 101.5 or higher. I decided that since it was only 101.7 and past 5 in the evening I would try the motrin and it worked okay. She was up ALL night sleeping off and on from 2 am until about 9 this morning. I got NO sleep. The worst part though is she will not eat a lot because she can't breath through her nose so my b___bs are huge and in pain. I guess I could pump. She is still running a fever of anywhere around 99.9 to the 101.7 when the med start to wear off. So if she still have the fever on Monday then to the doc tor we go..AGAIN!!!! I really think it is just a cold...but I would hate for it to turn into something worse like RSV or something. Hope you all are having a great day. We are off to go furniture shopping. We need new living room stuff...entertainment center...tables...couches. We will see what we find. Karen have fun tonight...Brooke..how have you been???

JerseyGirl - October 13

KAREN: I'm gonna ask how the reunion was b/c I'm sure you won't check in here until after it. Hope it was good! Let's look to get together the week of the 22nd. I will have just completed the edition of my newspaper, so I shouldn't be busy at all. CHRISTINE: Sorry about the cold sore. MELISSA: Sorry that Ellis is sick! That's the worst. Hopefully Dylan won't get it (or you or Sean). As for things here, H worked this morning and just now went back out. Who knows when he'll be home, so David and I are on our own again. Right now, D's been napping for 40 minutes so far. I was able to take a shower! When he wakes, I plan to give him a bath, then we'll head out to hang out with my brother, sis-in-law & nephew (they're here again this weekend working on their house). The big move is scheduled for the 29th, so this back-and-forth nonsense between here and the city will end then. Tomorrow we're heading up north to visit with our good friends, who are due on Xmas day with a little girl. BROOKE: Hope your little "vacation" at the hotel was fun!! You haven't even posted on this thread yet!

c_baer19 - October 13

MELISSA, l-lysine? I have it, but I haven't been taking it every day. I took a big dose this morning hoping it would help, but it's probably too late. I wish I had some of that valtrex to get rid of it before it gets worse! =(
