Hi, I was wondering if you ladies could give me an idea of what your feeding schedules are for your 51/2 month olds. I just want to have an idea of how much, how often and what you are feeding your little ones. All this introducing solids thing has me a bit stressed so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My ds, has 4-5oz at 8am and a jar of fruit, 12 he has 5oz and veg, 4:30 is 5oz and veg/meat and 7:30-8pm he has 6oz a jar of fruit and 1cup of cereal with fruit. He'll be 6 months on the 28th and loooves his solids and will often refuse his bottle after 4-5 oz so he can eat the solids.

Hi GD, I have a 5month old. He eats 32oz of formula a day. 8 oz bottles 4 times a day, first bottle at around 8am and last at around 8pm. Right now he is eating 2 meals a day. Usually rice cereal or oatmeal around 11am and in the evening he eats a small jar of a veggie. His last bottle feeding is around 8pm, and then he usually sleeps from 8:30pm to around 8am., and then all over again. It was a little stressful introducing solids because before he was on a good schedule for feedings, and I thought introducing solids would screw up his schedule, fortunately it didnt. He is a big eater, he weighed 9lbs and 4 oz at birth, and now weighs a little of 18lbs. Hope this helps. Good luck.
