i already posted this question under the bf category, but i know there are more people on this one, soooooooo........... my little princess is 7 weeks old, and for a while, (like from 3 weeks until just recently) she was nursing for 15-20 on one side and a little less on the other side, now she does like 10 on one side and 5 on the other if i am lucky. she still eats every 3-4 hours, and is gaining weight well and pooping and peeing enough...it just has cut down considerably. is she getting better at it, is that why? also, this won't hurt my milk supply will it? she is exclusivly br___t fed, except for the very occasional bottle of formula if we are out and i can't bf her, usually i make sure tofeed her before i leave...any one know??

Thats is perfectly normal. My lil one use to feed about 30min on each side. Then he went to 15. Now it is anywhere from 5-15 min total. He is 16wks old. They will vary. It should not hurt your supply. It didnt hurt mine. Plus some days he feeds more than others but usually it is still every 3-4 hrs. Now during the day it may be every 2 but at night it is 6 or seven. As long as the pee and poop is fine along with weight gain, then you are fine

Hey, it is completely normal! They just get more efficient at it.
