Hi, was your baby born in December of last year? Just thought I'd say h__lo to others with babies roughly the same age as mine. Anyone else going thru teething nightmares right now? My poor soon is so miserable. I just hate it.

Ang - June 8

Hi -- my son was born Dec 28th. I think he may be going through teething but he's always been a major chewer and drooler -- it's so hard to tell.

Bree - June 8

haha ...Dec 28th was my due date, but I was induced on Dec 20th. HOw big is your little man? Sam weighs around 20 lbs. I can't wait to find out when he goes back to the dr but I am so not looking forward to those next shots. ugggg...

Hey ladies! My ds was born December 8 of last year and he is definitely teething! I have to keep a bib on him all day long, and even then I still have to change his clothes at least 2-3 times a day. He chews on everything- and I mean everything...he even tried to chew on the poor cat's tail LOL! We have our 6 month shots tomorrow...yuck. He got a pretty high fever after his 4 month shots, so I am hoping this time won't be so bad. It makes me feel so guilty to see him in pain, but I know it's for his own good.

Ang - June 8

Gabriel was 7lns 13oz and I was induced too -- on the 27th. Little bugger took 29hrs to make an appearance. lol I feel you on the shots, I cry more than he does every time we go but thankfully we don't go until the 3rd or so.

Ang - June 8

Oh to answer your actual question... duh! Gabriel is almost 22lbs now -- offically outgrown his little infant seat, now we have to use that d__n 3-in-1 Eddie Baurer hunk of junk. It's too d__n heavy!! lol

Bree - June 8

Jen, Sam chews everything too. I can't leave a bib off of him. He gets raw/irritated where his neck is supposed to be. He's so chubs his head just like sits down low and it's impossible to see it. I keep powder and meds on it all the time. Ang, poor you. It only took about 4 hours for my induction, but that was 4 hrs of hard labor. Noboby mentioned that instantly my contractions would be 2 1/2 - 3 minutes apart. Ouch! I'd never go that route again unless it was medically necessary. We've moved to the regular carseat, too. My baby is so long and heavy. I can't hardly pick him up in the carrier/carseat thingy.

Selena - June 8

Bree our babies share the same bday! I was also induced on the 20th. Little Taylor was born 5lbs 6ozs and at her 4 month appt was 14lbs 2oz! I can't wait to see what she's up to now.

Bree - June 9

Hi Selena! I know what you mean, I'm just dreading those darn shots!

hi bree!!! I remember you.....I used to be patty but now I am proud to be austinsmom.....Glad you came back to the forum!! I left work on the 20th and left the computer so I did not know when you delivered ......I gave birth on the 29th which amazingly enough was my due date.....austin is now 15.5 pds and a strong little man....I am sure mine is teething as well....of course I thought he was teething way back at 3 months but hey what do I know since I am first time mom I learn as I go lol....the teething is going ok here though ..I mean he gets fussy sometimes but mostly just takes everything and I mean everything to his mouth...gotta be careful what he gets ahold of..ha ha....is yours trying to crawl? Mine has figured out how to get his legs and knees under him and he just pushes himself and rocks....it is so cute and it is amazing how far he can go with this new mobility......I think I am going to have to open the blanket I keep him on when he is in the floor all the way up cause it is getting hard to keep him on it......what is your lo favorite activity? Mine loves his bouncer and I mean loves.....if he is not in it then when you pick him up he is still trying to bounce in your arms...so cute....it is so wonderful to be a mom!!! I think by the way I heard ma ma ma come outta my lo this very morning!!!!! It has made my day!! How are things going with you?

Bree - June 9

Yes, I remember you. I wondered what ever happened to you and why you weren't in our yahoo group. I'm so glad all is well with your sweetie. My Sam was born Dec 20th and now weighs a good 20 lbs. He's a chunker. He's really long and chubby. He's not crawling yet, but he sits up well for long periods playing w/his toys. He's always been very laid back, but is becoming super active the older he gets. I'm hoping his eyes stay blue, but I think I see some brown shining thru now. Hubby won't agree w/me. lol He wants him to look like him, I guess. I wish you could get on the group so we could share pictures. We all post a million pics on there. I'd love to see little Austin. Teething has been a nightmare and I know it's close. I can't leave a bib off of him at any time or his shirt will be soaked. Keep me posted. I always enjoyed hearing from you. Are you doing well since the baby? Do you get to stay home full time? I have to work. Talk to ya again soon I hope. Take care.

austinsmom - June 9

Mine has blue eyes as well which was funny cause me and hubby have green and I was sure they would be green as well......if he did not look so much like hubby I worried hubby might think I had slept with the milkman lol....so far they are still the clearest blue....I would love to show off pictures of my lo and the only way I know how to do this would be to email pictures as an attachment ....if you want me to I would be happy to email you pictures and you could email me pictures of your lo....I stayed home with lo for 3 months but then I have had to go back to work....that first week was hell but I am lucky that family is watching lo and that helps with the ole piece of mind.....I am finding that having a lo is a little more expensive that I thought it would be (not being able to b___stfeed like I wanted to has not helped the money situation either) but we are getting along ok....a little sacrifice here and there.....and hey at least I will not be going on hunting trips for a while....I have a great excuse lol...no more trips to the cornfield for me!!!

Ca__sieSong - June 9

Hey December moms. Hi Patty again! I hardly ever get on the forum, so I only pop in and out. Aria is doing great. She will be 6 months tomorrow. Her bottom two teeth are coming in. It is cute to see her with teeth. Bree, nice to "see" you here too... though I "see" you every day too! :-)

austinsmom - June 9

Oh I bet that is so cute ca__sie your lo with teeth and the two bottom ones only lol..... how did the 6 month shots go for you? How much does your lo weigh?

Bree - June 12

I'd love to see some pics of your sweetie. My email address is: [email protected] I'll send you some of Sam, too. I agree. It really costs a lot to raise a baby.

Bree - June 12

Hi Steph!!! :) How's Aria today?

babyO - June 12

HI! I was on the 3rd trimester forum as Jackie...my son was born Dec 3 and I think he is teething also...he was sleeping thru the night and only waking up to nurse at around 5ish but for the past 3 days he has been waking up every 2 hours crying as in pain :( It breaks my heart! He is a drool machine and has started getting a litte rash on hus chin even thogh I am constantly wiping! I read that wiping some petroleum jelly on his chin will help so I am going to try tonight! Although I dont want him to be in pain I am not lookin g foward to the teeth with nursing and all ;o Ang- my son's name is Gabriel also :)
