A tooth! She was 8 mos Monday. My two year old had four teeth by now. Of course she wasn't crawling around, going up stairs, and pulling herself up yet like Marcy. My hubby gets so mad when I compare Mary and Marcy, but I can't help it. I compared Mary to my sister, since she was the last baby I remember…..so now I compare Marcy to Mary. So sue me. I know they are two separate people and I don’t expect Marcy to be like Mary, but I so compare them a bit. Anyway sorry I got off topic a bit, but I am so excited she finally has a tooth, but I am sad cause that cute little toothless grin I love so much is disappearing, not that a one tooth grin isn't just as cute!

awe..how exciting!! diesel got his first two teeth within days of each other at 4 months, but no more since then. Rylee had at least 8-10 by this age (she had a full mouth by 1 year). I'm like you, I tend to compare my kids. Rylee was doing so much more than diesel is right now. He's crawling, and trying to climb up the stairs, but rylee would actually pull herself up and walk along the furniture and stuff. I think it's natural to compare your kids to each other.

Same thing with my dd. She got her first tooth on her 8 mos b-day ( bottom one) and the one beside it within 2 weeks. By her 11 mo b-day she had 8 teeth!! She hans't gotten anymore yet, but she seems to be teeting right now. (She is 13 mos)

General comparing is fine as long as you don't compare eachother to the terms why Don't you act like your sister,I would say it would be a problem then. Yay she has a tooth.
