so my 7 month old started daycare yesterday and when i called to check on him they said he wouldn't take a bottle from them, which hes never had a problem taking one form anyone else, anyways they also said he wouldn't nap, just wondering if this will get better and when, i just drop him off there today and praying it goes better today

Give him a week or two. When I worked in daycare I worked in the 1yo's room. When kids would transition from the infant room to my room they often would not eat/drink as much...some barely at all.. and naps...a nightmare for the first week or so. I always thought about it like... even as grown-ups changes in routine and schedule can make us not sleep well and lose our appet_tes for awhile... I guess babies are the same. Anyway, hope it goes better for you soon!!

I also worked in an infant room at a fabulous centre, and like sahmof3 said....until the babes are settled and comfortable, their sleeping and eating habits will be disrupted. It will get better!! Just give it time....it may take a week, it may take two. All babies adjust at their own pace. Also, if you haven't done so already, tell the staff EXACTLY how your little one likes his bottle ~~ warm, cold, etc., how he's used to having it ~~ being held, sitting in a chair, on the floor etc. Same with nap time. It will get better!!
