have him suck on a bottle at take off and landings as that will help with air pressure changes... That helped with my little one when we flew...

Definately nurse or give a bottle during take off/landing. Make sure you have plenty of diapers and wipes. Bring at least one brand new toy. If you're crossing multiple timezones, keep him awake heading west, and try to get him to sleep heading east.

I flew with my son when he was 9 weeks, like the other posters said, I nursed on take off and landing. If the one toy you can bring, make it one with a mirror! I brought his Lamaze Tucker Turtle with a mirror on the tummy, and that was the only one we needed for the plane! We flew again when he was 4 months and the same....just gave bottles on take off and landing. I think they actually do quite well when they are small. Good luck! Oh and plastic baggies to put dirty diapers in to throw away, either in the airport on on the plane. Have baby Tylenol just in case you feel like giving him a drop or two (b/c of the shots 6 days earlier).
