Ok....I am searching for a great pair of knee high boots. What are your favorites??

I am looking for boots that have atleast a 2inch heel and that are s_xy!

Sketchers made an awsome pair that they sold thru Victoria Secret (I don't know if you can still get them). The were just below the knee, and some great hardware on them and a very s_xy shapely heal.

OMG, my friends and I were just dicussing boots. None of us are fat - maybe the biggest of us is me and I am only about 10-15 above my ideal weight due to this pregnancy. Yet NONE of us can find knee-high boots that zip over our calves. WTF?? Anyone else experience this?

I think its because we are shorter than the foot and leg models the design for. So the fullest part of out calf is too low in the boot. Our we are way more muscular than those darn foot and leg models

Moda in Pelle without a doubt!

We actually are sort of tall --- I am 5'8" and one of my good friends is 5'10". We must just have enormous calves or something. I never would think that I have enormous calves any other time except when it comes to trying on knee-high boots. Ridiculous! The boots I wear now with my jeans are really cute Nine West brown leather boots. However, they are short boots not knee-high.

I'm sure your legs are just extra muscular from toting little ones ;)

Shoot I hit submit too soon- anyway they didn't have my size left in the tall boot so I was at a loss then we got a gift cert to Kohls for xmas and I found a great pair of boots there they aren't real leather so they are my "disposable boots" but they were maybe 30 bucks and super s_xy

Hi Nerdy Girl. Where are the great spots to shop there in Chicago for some nice boots? My DH and I are thinking about going there either this weekend or next. I have looked online for womens boots in chicago, but I was overwelmed by all the info that came up. I also dont want to buy online, because I must try them on. NOt anything to crazy expensive but somewhere in the $200-300 price range. I would like to get something soon, because since spring is around the corner, they are harder to find.

Oh, boy. Are you talking about downtown? I so rarely shop downtown. I buy a lot of shoes at DSW, and you might actually find your $300 boots there for $100. There is a DSW in the city at Clark and Halsted, but that's not exactly downtown. There is a Naturalizer downtown, which I know because I have wide feet and all of the other Naturalizers in the Chicago area closed. Of course you could probably just stroll along Michigan Avenue downtown and see what catches your eye.
