Freezing Breast Milk Formula Combo

My daughter is 2 months old and I am finally able to to pump some extra milk everyday. I am freezing it so that I can use a bottle now and then when I'm out or if in the future I have someone else looking after her for a few hours. Someone suggested that I freeze the br___tmilk witha bit of formula mixed in so that not only will it be more filling if someone else is feeding her and I'm not there, but that then if I want to transition to formula after the 6 month mark (which I do not plan to) I have already prepared a great way to transition. Basically my question is, how long can you freeze formula for?

I've read never to freeze formula: "Freezing does not affect the nutritional quality or sterility but physical separation of the product's components may occur."

DDT's right: formula can says never to freeze it.

Why don't you just freeze the BM and then when you thaw for use, then just combine with some freshly made formula?
