My dd just had her 2 month shots last week, it looks like she has 2 teeth coming in, and she's getting her sister's cold!! Poor little thing doesn"t know which thing to cry about. I've been giving tylenol, but you can only give so much. Any suggestions on anything I can do to help her feel better?

I know exactly how you are feeling. My dd has 4 teeth coming in at once as well as an ear infection. She is on med. for ear infection- tylenol helps her a little with her teeth. She also likes to chew on a wet cloth--I hope other people respond cause I would like to know also--good luck!!

missy, how old is your lo? My dd is 9 weeks, she can't really chew on a wash cloth yet. I wish she could, I let my first dd do that when she was teething and it seemed to help. Good luck to you too!

The only thing I've found that works at times like this is lot's of cuddling. Carlie is b___stfed so I will just let everything go, call for a pizza, and nurse and cuddle. I feel for you! I hate days like that!!

My dd is 9 months--yeah I guess it would be kindof hard for a 9 week old to chew on something!!-- lol!!!

My son has 4 teeth coming in 3 have finally come through in this last week and the last one looks like it is going to break any minute. He was in so much pain we started waking up 2-3 times a night again until I talked to my Pedi. Now my son is 9 months so you might want to call your ped to make sure it is ok for a 2 month old... but I found baby Motrin worked better than Tylenol. YOu need to make sure you are giving the right dose for their weight....which can make a huge difference if your not giving enough. Also with the Tylenol and the Motrin one pa__ses through the Kidneys and one through the Liver so you can give them within 1 hour of each other. I gave it back to back a few nights and we slept through the night. I found the Baby Motrin helped more then the Tylenol for the swelling. Again ask your ped before you give your little one both meds. Also there teething tablets at CVS so you don't have to keep pumping medication in your baby. Good Luck

I had asked about motrin in another threadand someone responded that you can only use it after 6 months. I could swear I used it with my first dd, but maybe I'm wrong. I think I will call the pedi and ask about it. Oh, and the teeth coming in aren't front teeth......it's the top left "k9" and the one next to it. Is that normal?
